    About Oligo

    Founded in January 2022, Oligo Security offers the most precise open-source security solution, leveraging runtime application context while maintaining performance and stability. Using Oligo, customers are able to save time and focus on the relevant vulnerabilities that are being used in runtime, thus reducing the workload of responding to security alerts by about 85%.

    When did you start working with Nextage and how did you first meet them?

    We started working with Nextage before our seed round – you could say from day 1, even before the company was formed. We got many recommendations from other founders and friends who told us about Nextage, and when we met with Yaara we felt how personable and very professional they are. Hiring Nextage was an obvious decision for us.

    What have been the key financial challenges you have faced and how has Nextage helped solve them?

    Nextage have been our partners since the very beginning; they helped us set up our company properly as we were starting and more recently they helped us set up our US entity so that it fits into our organization in the best way.

    Nextage has huge knowledge about industry standards – they have great visibility into the market with a great deal of benchmark data at their fingertips and we have found this to be extremely helpful particularly in the areas of budgeting and hiring. They also helped us identify and vet which suppliers we should work with, which banks are most helpful to startups – they have the playbook on this because they know the market.

    I should also mention that, as our finance function, Nextage was of course closely involved and very helpful through our $8m seed and our recent $20m A round raises.

    How would you characterize your working relationship with Nextage

    Our head of global business operations works with Nextage on a day-to-day basis, and I, as CEO, work directly with them as needed.

    The team at Nextage is always super available for us – they understand the importance of being available for startups no matter whether this is at night or over weekends.

    As a rapidly growing startup, our needs change as we evolve and Nextage has proven to be sensitive to this and has adapted smoothly and rapidly whenever we have needed them to.
